Sure. Don't think our chances are too good. We will be camping Christmas eve and day.

We put up with a lot of SNOW up north, that is why we now reside in central FL. If I want to encounter SNOW (one of those 4 letter words) I can turn on the weather channel.

Merry Christmas!!!
Happy Hanukkah!!!
Happy __________ (please fill in the blank)

Let it snow somewhere else.

It can snow all it want's, as long as it's not here. Enjoying mid 60's and plenty of sunshine.

You never know what you're going to get in New England. Temps in the teens yesterday, snow which changed to rain today, and back to the mid-50's tomorrow.

Yes bring on the snow! We are only in our 2nd year of winter RV'ing and we got 7" yesterday; hoping for more on Chridtmas. The temps have been in the negatives every night. Today the high only reached -2, yes negative 2 for a high... way too cold! Retirement is coming soon and then we will join the other (smarter) ones in the South. As for now we are making the best of what we have and enjoying our unique experience. Merry Christmas All!!!

Full timers but still active duty AF, anxiously awaiting retirement travels where I have been told everyday is a Saturday

We've already had a foot of snow, and the current temperature is -26*C -- with windchill, it's somewhere around -40*. When it's that cold, it doesn't matter if it's *F or *C! Only 5 months until our next camping trip!

Absolutely. We have a bit on the ground, with more predicted for next week. However, it is going to be a little warm tomorrow, with rain.

When you grow up in the north it doesn't feel like christmas without snow. We have received over a foot in the past week and the weatherman says more on the way later this week. We will be headed further north later this week for the holidays to do some downhill skiing and snowmobiling. I spent one xmas in Arizona as a kid at the grandparents and flocked white xmas trees and 65 degrees didn't cut it for me.

I need to mow the grass/weeds/leaves before company comes next week, so I hope for short sleeves, cut-offs, beer & BBQ.

For those of you in the south, while clearing another 5" of cloud poop from the driveway this morning, the chute on my blower was pointed your direction. My first color choice for the lawn is Green, second is White, last is Brown.

This pretty much sums it up.....
The lawn guys (lawn persons, if you are a politically correct type of member) just finished cutting the grass on Thursday. Looking out at the raised garden, the thermometer (+80F) and I believe it is time to plant the winter lettuce crop back there. May even go out around noon and get a little sun tan. It is a rough life down here, BUT SOMEONE HAS TO DO IT!!!

The only problem with RETIREMENT is that you no longer get a day off!

Enjoy your day!!!

Don

Not likely here in South MS.. We will get snow every 8-10 years, usually in late Jan. early Feb. Around here, 1" of the white stuff shuts everything down.

24 hours in a day, 24 beers in a case. Coincidence? I think not.

I said that I don't care. I've had plenty of white ones, and I've had brown ones. I also lived 2 years in the Bahamas, spent a Christmas in Roatan, Honduras, and one in Belize - clearly none of those were white, unless you count the sand on the beach. I've White Christmased in Minnesota, Montana, and Colorado.

I prefer being someplace where there is a chance for it to be white, as long as it doesn't involve excessive sidewalk snow shoveling on Christmas morning.
