Everything Works ~No Problems

There are so many threads in RV forums about problem units that never should have left the factory.

This isn't one of them [emoji3]. Instead this is a quick summary of our first journey with our Jay Flight 21QB.

It's the middle of December here in Texas Hill Country which means after setting up (electric jack and stabs worked fine) we needed to run the AC. In ten minutes it was cold inside.

By the morning it was at freezing. The furnace ran most of the night and kept us cozy warm.

The refrigerator chilled, the freezer froze, the water heated heated (on gas and electric). The awning ran in and out. All the lights illuminated. Screws were screwed. Nothing fell.

DW baked a gingerbread cake, we grilled, boiled water, and microwaved a sweet potato. We vented to the outside.

Blinds went up and stayed up until we pulled them down.

Toilets flushed, faucets flowed, shower heads sprayed. Stereos played quietly inside and outside or inside or outside.

Tires stayed on, brakes worked, lights lighted.

So yes Virginia there is a Santa Claus arms there are units that work for at least the first day.

Nice post. Congrats on the new camper and first trip. Glad to hear everything worked. All to often you only hear the negative. I can say both of my Jayco's have been great units.

24 hours in a day, 24 beers in a case. Coincidence? I think not.

It's nice to get a well made unit. Ours was the same and still is. Never been back for warranty repair. Only a few minor things needed repaired over the years such as a water heater igniter. The part was way cheaper than the fuel hauling it back to the dealer. Congrats on your Jayco.

Nope, not buying it - no pics so it couldn't have happened Our few issues have all been addressed by the dealer & Jayco including a refinish of the front cap last month.

Recommend not counting chickens before the next trip! And watch out for that gift horse's mouth.
