Mine is pretty boring actually -- back in the early 90s my company got on the internet bandwagon. Our email address and IDs could only be 8 characters...they used your first initial, middle initial, and 6 characters from the last name....it stuck and I just used it ever sense for an id....

How about you?

Ahh, that`s what that means. I have spent countless hours searching wikipedia, history books, zoological books, dictionaries, old encyclopedias, internent searches, library archives trying to figure out just what a tafische is. My quest is now over.

Truth is I don`t own any zoological books or many of the others either, just pulling tafische`s leg. We do now know that no fish are involved, AKA crab bait!

OUR = Me and my wife (2 daughters and Grandson when they come camping)
JAYCO = Well .................you figure that part out. You are all smart folks.

I really love this forum. There is another thread going about another forum RV._ _ _. You all know what forum it is.

I have been a member on that forum for many years. Since I joined this forum, I have yet to post one comment on their forum.

I will stay right here as long as the "Higher Members" let me.

YOU GUYS ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Many years ago I ran across a Car and Driver Magazine reprint of the September 1966 road test of a 1966 Plymouth Fury station wagon that they dubbed The C/D "Boss Wagon".

The car was equipped with a 383 HP engine, and heavy duty suspension to which they added Koni shocks and Goodyear Blue Streak Police Special tires.

They stated in the article " The Boss Wagon can out handle many highly touted sports cars, and does it with a minimum of fuss. It can also dispatch some pretty stiff competition on the impromptu drag race circuit".

I thought the car was neat and liked the name. In later years Car and Driver resurrected the Boss Wagon name and applied it to several projects.

When I bought my used E-350 Super Duty Chateau van I thought about the name Boss Wagon since Ford sometimes refers to the Econoline as a "Club Wagon". Ford also likes the name Boss.

When I thought about the van's attributes; short body, 1 ton chassis, with the 6.8 v-10, I thought that's kind of "Boss" as we would have said back in the day.

The license plate BOSS WGN was available when I registered the van, so there you have it. I used the van's name for my username here.

Some people ask me who is the the Boss, me or the wife, they don't get it when I tell them the van is the Boss.

Mine's boring because I couldn't think of anything interesting when I signed up. Mine is just my first and middle name together.
