Shipping Amazon Orders to Campsite

I've been trying to find info on this, but I can't seem to find an answer. I want to know if I make an order on Amazon if they will ship it to me at a campsite. I'm a Prime member and I can get 2 day shipping so I can know if I will be there or not to receive an order. Will they ship it and would the campground accept it? I usually stay in Michigan State Parks. If anyone has experience with this, I'd like to know.

X2

Don't ask us, ask Amazon and your campground!

I'm guessing some campgrounds would be OK, and others not so much. Some places I've been clearly accept mail and deliveries for campers. Having said that, there are alternative delivery methods, like mail drops. Maybe someone here can make a suggestion along those lines.

Awesome idea, my wife has had stuff shipped to hotels with her name on it. It would probably just depend on the campground, if their willing to deal with it or not.

Last summer while staying at Traverse City State park we had a few items shipped to us from Amazon. We first checked with the front desk and they said no problem, on the Amazon order we just added the park address and two days later the goodies arrived.

As others have said it depends on several things. Ask the campground first if they get delivery from how ever it will be shipped. If so it won't be a problem unless the cg does not do it.

Some cgs don't handle outgoing mail...Their choice.

I have had parts shipped to me from Amazon and indiviual companies and had no problem but I notified the cg to expect it and hold it for me. It has never been a problem.

I've seen ups trucks pull up and drop stuff off at my neighbor's places at my site in florida.

I've also seen people pick up stuff at the reception center.

Thanks. I'll have to ask at the office when I check in to see if they can accommodate camper deliveries.

I've had Amazon ship my stuff to all kinds of places- from hotels to live-aboard boats in a marina all over the country. As long as someone will receive it, Amazon will send it wherever you ask. That should also remind you to use a good password and change it often, as anyone who hacks your account can then send themselves whatever they want to pretty much wherever they want.
