Toggle Switches

I am in the process of separating the LED awning light from the Amber step light on my 2017 Jay Flight 21QB, for those of you who like to mod your campers like I do with factory look and feel, I have chased down the manufacturer, part numbers, and a source to purchase the switches, I will post a picture of the switches that I am referring to in the comments. The switches are made by Sigma Switches and the plates are made by Kevco. Here are the P/Ns:

Switches:
1B-10-U-315G (On/Off White Rocker Switch with Gold Print)
1B-18-U-315S (On/Off Black Rocker Switch with Silver Print)

Bases:
P51B1-01 (1 Gang Switch Base White)
P51B1-15 (1 Gang Switch Base Black)
P52B1-01 (2 Gang Switch Base White)
P52B1-15 (2 Gang Switch Base Black)
P53B1-01 (3 Gang Switch Base White)
P53B1-15 (3 Gang Switch Base Black)
P54B1-01 (4 Gang Switch Base White)
P54B1-15 (4 Gang Switch Base Black)

Kevco Covers:
P51CK-01 Small Cover (1 Gang and 2 Gang Switch Cover White)
P51CK-15 Small Cover (1 Gang and 2 Gang Switch Cover Black)
P52CK-01 Medium Cover (3 Gang and 4 Gang Switch Cover White)
P52CK-15 Medium Cover (3 Gang and 4 Gang Switch Cover Black)

These can be obtained from:
Burnstine's Div. of Collins & Co.
17880 Commerce Drive
Bristol, IN 46507
phone: 574-848-1118

Burnstine's does not maintain stock, but they pick up every Thursday from Sigma. I ordered what I needed on a Monday and it was at my door the following Monday.

It appears to be an easy modification, there is plenty of access to the wiring, I am looking forward to the switch and gang plate to arrive.

Where were you able to access the wires for the awning and step lights?
I would also like to separate those.

I accessed the wire loom by drilling a hole in the space behind the panel of switches located in the upper cabinet.

From this hole, I fed a fish tape down to the switch that is next to the door. From the hole behind that switch, I pulled four wires up to through the new hole. One wire was used to get the amber light down to it's new switch, one wire was used to get the awning LED light down to it's switch, one wire was to get the under counter light up to it's new switch and the fourth wire was to get power down to the new switches for the amber light and the awning LED light. This modification costed me $22.00 and one hour of my time.
