ID:	8324Here are a few mods or upgrades we've made to our 2012 26RLS. Changed from 12 volt batteries to 6 volts, removed reading lights over the chairs and replaced with LED fixtures that turn, replaced the plastic table leg bases with metal (no more table shift when you lean on it), moved the TV bracket less than 1" towards the aisle so we could swivel it towards the wall when not watching it, put a strap under the bed to make lifting it easier, removed the single towel bar and installed 2 brushed metal. There are a few other small things but these are our favorites.

Great pics, and suggestions. My wife has been troubled by the single towel bar since we got our unit last fall, you may have the solution for her
What is the reason / advantage of the two six volt batteries??
Do the fit in a standard battery box?, how hard is it to get them wired correctly? If I remember right they would be connect serialy not parralel?

I'm curious as to why you moved the TV closer to the hallway. I would much prefer the TV is out 26RLS to be positioned a little more the other way. It just feels as if you are going to bang into it when you walk down the hall. A wall mount mount that can extend and pivot from the wall would be awesome though.

Even so, I'm still confused why you moved it closer to the bathroom. We haven't moved our mount and we can still swivel our TV in the other direction when we're not using it to make walking by easier.

While dry camping last weekend we discovered our 3 yr old Costco 12 volts were only holding the charge 5 hours at night using 2 CPAPs and no furnace. Read on this forum many recommendations for 6 volts holding a charge longer. We are light battery users but need power all night so took the plunge. We had to buy a new battery box as they are taller & got the 1 big one they both fit into. Not hard to wire and they are in series not parallel. Every trailer we've had we put in 2 matching towel bars rather than cram 2 bath towels on 1 bar.

By moving the TV bracket just a tad closer to the hall we now have room to swivel it so it faces the corner walls rather than face the hall when not facing the rear of the trailer. When facing rear it hangs out into the aisle and we were afraid of scratching the face of the TV swiveling it towards the aisle and brushing past it. This way it's out of the aisle when not in use and no risk of scratching it.

Oh, I see what you're saying. Thanks.

All look good. Why the 2 12V power points attached to the bottom of the bed?

I just told my wife about "dry camping" and she laughed and said, "That's too much like camping! We're GLAMPERS!"
