Looked at trucks tonight
I've been looking at new GMC Sierra 3500 DRW Duramax Denali's at Laura Buick GMC in IL. Selling them for $58k online without even haggling. That's not bad when u look at what some similarly equipped new 1500 gassers go for... I'm really happy with my 2500 Duramax but I like to window shop lol...

Are you sure? Toyota hasn't even yet announced that they are indeed going to offer a diesel... let alone testing them.
Maybe it was a regular Tundra with no oil in it, but I HIGHLY doubt it was a factory diesel in a Tundra right now...

Toyota had a diesel in the mid 60's, buddy had one in a pickup and it drove like a small V8. Should be nice

I have become a fan of certified pre owned. In 2014 I picked up my 12 f250 diesel lariat for $42k with 21k miles. fords pre owned program extends power train warranty to 100k. In addition dealer gave first two oil changes for free. I felt pretty good about letting someone else eat the early depreciation. It is my first time. Let's see how I feel in 5 years. But right now, I would do it again.

The urge . . . @ 123k miles and paid for, I'm purposely taking a route that avoids seeing the dealers lot. It's gonna get a lot tougher when the new HD's hit the showfloor and I'm a year from retirement this fall.

Speaking of urges...after I have retired the second time, and supposedly for good, I found myself not yet ready to exit the workforce, so I got a part time job at a Chevy dealer (working 2-3 times per month) driving dealer trades or delivering new vehicles to customers in three states, so far. I have driven the new 65 thousand dollar diesels and it is really tough not to want to go buy one for myself until I remember I spent less than 65K for the first three homes I purchased, combined. That along with the fact my 11 year old Duramax has been paid off for some time now. However I am looking for a good used truck since the diesel is starting to have component breakdowns. Maybe when the DW wins the lottery, I will buy my next new one.

I found a 2010 GMC online one night that was 8 months old with 8,800 miles on it. The previous owner put running boards and a shell on it and traded it in. I bought the truck for less than $25,000.00 and it was on at a dealer close by.

I love my truck. Just got new shoes for her and the trip to Middlebury, IN. If the transmission holds up, I may just hang on to this one for a while. It has bells and whistles that I am still figuring out 4 years later. Makes pulling a trailer so pleasant, I forget sometimes they are back there.

Did it look like this? Toyota has not produced a Diesel Tundra let alone yellow. It's looking like 2018 before a redesign will be happening but for now no mention of a Diesel.

I think you're right as RP53 has confused the Titan with a Tundra. We live near Columbus Indiana [home of Cummins] and see the Titan test trucks with the Cummins 5l driving around all over the place.

Welcome fellow Hoosier, let us know if you start seeing any masked Tundra looking trucks running around your area!
