We tend to take our shoes off at the door. Bought 2 rectangular rubber mats with 1 inch raised edges that hold water/mud in place. 1st mat is to step onto, 2nd is to set our shoes on for storage.

We use the Camping World folding metal step. This unit is very durable and has a large grate area. Perfect for stomping before entering the trailer.

Also solves our problem of to much height from the last step and ground on our OFF-ROAD POPUP.
