Can MV29 generator support Keurig coffee maker?

Oy vey. The husband will be unhappy if his K-cup coffee maker doesn't work on dry camping. We are new to the whole electrical thing but hope to become better educated . . . we have a new MV29. Our campground allows us to run the genny 3 times per day?

Can we just start the generator and plug in the coffee maker? If not, please tell us our options before I accidentally destroy something. I will be relieved and the "big guy" will be ever so happy.

Thanks,

Yes your generator should power the coffee maker without issue. I would not run the Air conditioner and Microwave oven and the coffee maker at the same time. but one or two of those as a time should be fine.

As a K-cup owner and coffee drinker, I think I understand your (his) concern. Yes, the generator will easily be able to run the coffee maker.

Your generator can handle up to 4000 watts. All you need to do is simply "add up the wattage" of the appliances running. The Keurig is 1500 watts. The microwave is probably 1000 to 1200. The air conditioner is likely 1500. If an electric heater is running that's 500 to 1500 watts. Electric blankets are 200-300 watts.

Pick any two big wattage appliances to run at the same time at stay under 3000 watts.

What a relief! Thanks to all who replied. We will make a list of the power load for everything and go from there.

Again, thanks for you support.

Not only the K-Cup coffee maker but your Frig, AC and lights all at the same time! Oh, and even the Microwave!
