Hello all. New to site.
I have a 2005 35GS. Love the unit, hate the living room carpet. Does anyone know if the carpet can be removed to reveal the flooring below or will the slides damage it by scratching it ? Thanks.
Welcome to the JOF, RMC1962. Is that your initials or were you a chief radioman? Sorry, I don't know the answer to your specific question but I bet others chime in.

I think one of your biggest problems will be getting the carpet out from under the slide. Also you will have staple marks (holes) in the vinyl where the carpet and vinyl meet in the kitchen.
With that said I think several people have replaced the carpet with one of the laminate floors so you may want to ask that same question on this board on Yahoo. All Super "C" owners.
I contacted Jayco directly and they did not recommend removing the carpet due to the carpet being designed as a runner for the slides. Replacement however was an option. I hope this helps someone with the same questions.
