In its house

At least for the 3 days before we leave, the Seneca is in its new house. Hopefully it will be complete before we return in October.

Wow. Very impressive. I suppose that's more than worth it to protect against the intense southern sun. Will you run a dehumidifier inside it all the time while it's parked there not in use?

Impressive! Built like a brick 'Seneca' house.

Very nice! Is it going to be fully enclosed when it's done?

I love it. Very nicely done professional job. If you wanted, you could stucco those cement blocks and dress it up even more.

Yes, everything must be built to withstand 160 mph winds. Sure adds to the costs.

No, it's a RV carport. It would get too hot if enclosed.

I will be putting sun screen material on the upper part of the west wall which gets the afternoon sun from around 3 pm on. It's 22 feet wide so it gets pretty good coverage with the overhang.

Mark, if you don't mind me asking, how much did that cost ? Did you have to get that permitted?

Mark, very nice cover for your rig! Got a question for you, do you run a dehumidifier in it when you are storing it there? Here in northern Alabama the humidity is high, if we are not running the ac's in it we run the dehumidifier in it.

Yes, it is permitted and built to meet the south Florida building code which includes the 160 mph wind load. Plus it about 21 feet high at the peak, kind of difficult to hide from inspectors.

By the time I'm done it should cost just around 25 ish with everything.
