I have to push a tow dolly up a slight grade to get it into my garage and it moves easily by hand on the lev el but pushing up hill is difficult. Has anyone got a recommendation on any equipment to help move the dolly up into my garage?
gotta ask - does your dolly have surge brakes? if so have you disabled them for the "push"? i fought mine for 15 minutes before realizing the brakes were enabled.

I bought the cheapest electric wench from Harbor Freight. I put a heavy duty eye bolt into a stud in the back wall of my garage. Connected the wench to the eyebolt with a clevis, ran the wench hook out to my dolly and pulled it into the bay. Since then I have found dozens of uses for that cheapie little wench.

Without a dolly with trailer brake controls I wouldn't go up or down any hills. My driveway is sloped and even with a 5x10 empty landscape trailer and a Harbor Freight dolly it wasn't a safe experience. It's amazing how weak the human body is compared to gravity and physics.
