vinyl floor ballooning at hwy speeds?

Took my Greyhawk out for the first trip (Used Coach, new to me). On the way home the vinyl floor ballooned up with air for the entire length of the floor. there's obviously an air leak somewhere. Is there a common culprit with this issue, I'm hoping all I'll have to do is caulk around the stairs or pray some "great Stuff in a couple cracks... Any ideas?

Man I've heard of air rides but that's ridiculous.

If the underside of your Greyhawk is not enclosed, get beneath your MH and see if you can spot where the air is getting into the interior of your coach. If you can, then you may be able to seal it with spray foam insulation. If not, you may have to take it to a dealer and have it repaired.

I am wondering if you are also exposed to exhaust gases from your MH's engine. If so, you could experience carbon monoxide poisoning. Signs of this would be sleepiness and a severe headache. Something worth considering.

No exhaust fumes in the coach...I guess that's a god sign. I was checking underneath yesterday and didn't see anything glaring at me. I did see some gaps that I sealed with silicone caulk, especially around the stairs. I'll test it out in a few days to see if I hit the magic spot. The dealer said that an open window or vent could have caused negative pressure and cause the floor to bellow up.... Who knows.

While I was under there, I noticed a purple wire had been cut from the stair control module to the inside of the coach. The stairs seem to be working fine, so I;m trying to figure out if I should reconnect it or leave it alone? The KWIK-KEE stair co will not talk to consumers and the dealers clueless. I'd love a schematic right about now!

I have an 07 Greyhawk (bought it new) that was doing the same thing. I took it back to the dealer, twice they tried to fix it but it continued. I told them that if air could get in there so could water. They said all they could do was to lift up the vinyl and, using waterproof flooring paste, glue it down. I told them to do it and it doesn't balloon anymore.

That's the same thing I said. Unfortunately, I bought it as-is. It didn't do it on our short test drive, so I'm stuck with it. My next move is to glue it down.
