What type of slide outs are used in 2017 Seneca

While waiting for our Seneca to arrive I find myself spending time doing research on the various components. One of the subjects is slide out mechanisms and manufacturers. The 37ts that we have on order has three slide outs, and I am trying to find out specifics on these units as I think there are two different styles and makes. One I believe is a Shwintek and not sure of the other.

I am trying to gain some knowledge to be sure I can open or close the slides should the motors fail.

I would appreciate any information that you can share on these units used.

Thank you

I have a 2014 TS, but the wife and I just took a tour of the factory on March 1st where we were able to see some 2017 Senecas in production. The slideout mechanisms in those new units appeared identical to what I have on my 2014. Mine were made by Power Gear, all 3 of my slideout switches have their identification on them. Power Gear is now a part of Lippert, a huge corporation serving many industries.

I hope that helps!

Thanks, I will do some reading on those units, For some reason I thought I had read that the 2017 were going to have Schwintek in the slide for the bedroom.

Pretty sure the 2017 FS has one of each: Schwintek and Power Gear.

I admit I did not lift the bed on the units we saw at the factory.

I wonder why they would change, I think my Power Gear bedroom slide works the best of all 3!
