Hard Latching Door
I just brought the new camper home yesterday. At the dealership the camper door closed so nice. Once home, I have to pull the handle just a little before the doer will close then need to push hard from the out side or pull hard from the inside to get it to latch. Seems to be level...am I have tried taking weight off the rear jacks....Please help with any suggestions!

Door issues like that are usually from the frame being twisted. Is it level side to side and front to back?

If you find the door to be free in the opening then most likely the strike is simply dry. Go to a better auto parts store and pick up a stick of Door-Ease. I swear by the stuff. It's a non staining grease stick that works great on door strikes, metal zippers on coats and sleeping bags and much much more.

Loosen, then tighten the screws on the door jamb catch side. Worked for me.

My door closes great sometimes and then an hour later like crap again. I think it all has to do with the sun and humidity, at least in my case. I am going to try the door-ease as mcfarmall mentions.

+1
My brand new 5'er did exactly the same thing a couple of weeks ago. What Jmooney did also fixed the issue. Just loosen the 2 door jamb catch side screws, then pull it out towards you as far as possible (facing the door from the outside), then re-tighten the screws back on again.
Before, I needed to apply a considerable amount of force in order to get the latch to open. Now, I can even use my pinky.

Well, I tried the loosen, adjust and re tighten. ...and no help.
However, I pulled out some motorcycle chain lube. Sprayed a little on the striker and the latch and BINGO! Mcfarmal is on the right track. I think the chain lube will work for a couple of days until I pick up some door ease! Thank you all for the suggestions!

IF it worked nice at the dealership then you need to level it better.. It does not take very much to throw doors out of kilter..
