MCD manual shade on 2017 Jayco Pinnacle

Does anyone know how to remove a manual MCD Shade on my 2017 Jayco Pinnacle and install the new one?

The original shade was pulled down to far and will not re coil so Jayco sent me a new one

If I remember correctly there are two clips that the shade housing snaps on. Look up to the shade base with a flashlight you should see them on the back, I believe you can un-clip / release them with a long screwdriver. It may be easier to remove the window valance also.

Hope this helps.

We tried to unclip it but the space was to tight with the valance!

Where are the screws located for the valance? Do you happen to know?

They are up inside the valance, mine has a little bracket on each end that mounts them to the wall. You have to look up inside the valance itself.

We had the same problem with one of ours on a North Point. Husband had to remove the two little screws (Pain in the B***) to remove the blind. New one works well and once he had the old one out, he repaired it and so now we have a spare.
