Outdoor Kitchen Door Doesn't Latch

On our outdoor kitchen, even with the deadbolts locked, it doesn't lock where with little pull it opens right up. Is there a way to adjust the locking loop so it will latch fully?

Our other outdoor locks latch perfectly, but not that one.

I had the same problem, I just bend the lip that the latch catches on up, held the door secure.

The latch comes apart pretty easy. There is a screw that holds the lever that activates the latch that becomes loose. Has happened in 2 of my 4 latches. 4 screws hold latch to door. Remove those and take cover off. You will see what I mean. It causes the latch to not fully release
