Question Pop Up RV5 King Pin Extension

Anybody have any experiences with this product. While tacking an extra 10" on the pin box sounds like a great idea I'm concerned with the extra torque on the frame where the pin box mounts. In the back of my brain I hear Robbie the Robot shouting, "Warning Will Robinson!".
RV5 Extension
These guys seem to have offered this since 2005 or so but I just can't convince myself that it's a good thing.

Many frame manufactures offer a bolt on extension. I would look at that first.
