slide seal conditioner
What type if any rubber seal conditioner do you use to keep your slide seals in good shape? A good friend of mine ran his slides out on his eagle Friday, and the seal came with the slide on one of them. Is there a good way to maintain these?

Camco makes a slide-out rubber seal conditioner and a slide-out lube for the gears and rails. A can of each will last a long time. I also use the rubber seal conditioner on the tilt-out window gaskets to keep them from sticking to the glass.

I had that problem when storing in Florida. I've been using protect all for about 8 years, rubber seal conditioner probably almost exact to what NC roamer uses. It foams and covers the seal pretty well. I do it about a day prior to going into storage. Haven't had any issues since so I would say it works pretty well.

Can pretty much use 303 on anything including the fiberglass if you want to. We just use it on seals (slide, doors, hatches Etc) though. Got other preferences for the fiberglass. 303 is great stuff. We've been full timers twice and it holds up well. Been using it for well over 10 years now.

This stuff here:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00C7...ace+protectant
You can find it cheaper. It's the do it all stuff, though I see they have expanded their product line a bit.

What BigJohn mentioned is a good all around product this one works better over the long haul on the seals.

I just tried this, because I was tired of fighting with the windows every time I wanted to open them, and since two of them are emergency exits, it's pretty important that they work properly. I sprayed some seal conditioner on a cloth and wiped it on the window seals, now they open without any problem.
