I know the G614's would be the best of all worlds. But, does anyone have knowledge of the Maxxis M8008?

I replaced all 5 of my Towmax tires with Maxxis M8008 this summer.
2 of my Towmax tires were starting to get tread separation after ~5,000mi, so I replaced all 5 (including spare).
I'm very happy with the Maxxis M8008.
Reason I went with Maxxis:
1. My rims were only rated for 80 PSI (3,580# Max Rating) and I couldn't afford to replace both rims and tires to go with the Goodyear G614s.
2. Maxxis gave me the load rating closest to what I was looking for (Load Range E = 3,420#),
where any LT tire I found didn't give me the load rating above 3,100# @ 80 PSI
(
I wanted to get as close as possible to or above a load rating of 3,500#).
3. The Maxxis M8008s came highly recommended from others that I know that have them.
Note: The tire place I had the Maxxis mounted commented on how much stronger the Maxxis side walls were when compared to the Towmax.
I agree with you, Goodyear G614s would be the best way to go, but IMHO and from my experience, the Maxxis M8008 is also an excellent alternative.
Hope this is of some help and good luck.
