The lint goes out of the hot air exhaust. When you wash something that is very high lint or starts to fall apart, you definitely see the lint or pieces come out.

The lint is supposed to be trapped in a water flushed filter and expelled into the water drain line into the grey tank.

We decided against the washer/dryer. Weight and loss of the closet were the primary reasons. Never have regretted the decision. I usually stop at the laundromat when making a beer run....or stop at the beer store when making a laundry run....

I ended up buying that Splendide ventless combo unit. He contacted me and offered it for 100.00. So I bought it. Very impressed with its build quality. Saw a sticker on it saying made in Italy. I put it on spin and made was it quiet and smooth.

Would suggest going online and get the owner's manual so you can get Splendide's usage guidance. One thing I can attest to is the use of liquid fabric softener so the clothes "release" from the drum after the high speed spin. Otherwise they stick and dry unevenly.

Another drying aid is to find and use "dryer balls". Ours are rubber about the size of tennis balls covered with 1/2" spikes. We use two with every load and they help the clothes dry more evenly and help prevent wrinkles. Surprisingly they really work!

You do not need very much detergent in those washers. They even tell you to try without detergent.

If you take the clothes out after washing and shake them before drying it also helps with the wrinkles.

My wife spends hours at the laundromat when we are camping because we have 4 kids, all teenage except 1 who is 11, the inconvenience of missing out on family time alone would pay for the unit. She can't leave her stuff at the cg laundromat because people will steal clothes out of the dryers. The units for campers are small but she will be able to start a load,go hang at the beach or what have you for a little while, and when she returns the clothes would be washed, dryed, and ready to fold and put away. Not very efficient in terms of load size but super effecient in terms of family time. As you can probably tell we don't have a washer / dryer yet but that is our next purchase. Just put new Sailuns and a new 3rd a/c on our 2010 Eagle 365bhs and even though it is already plumbed and wired for the washer/dryer unit the funds aren't ! Lol. Soon though. We are convinced after talking to other campers that the cost is well worth it in our situation.

My $100.00 Splendide 7100XC ventless turned out to be a great buy. Tested it several times and works great. Got the combo unit, waiting on the trailer to come off the assembly line.
I will buy and install the Splendide dip tray with it.

I did, they are only about 40 miles from me. They told me the same thing I found in the service manual. If I want, the can send out a tech but I can do the work myself, their parts aren't cheap!

I have bought a Pinnacle combo stackable unit. I wouldn't do it again. Keep the storage space.
