I will bet our units have all kinds of power sucking stuff. I wonder if the six point leveling and Schwintec slide computer controllers are also hot all the time.

Our Schwintek controllers are hot all the time. Not sure about the leveling system (ours is 4 point), but it wouldn't surprise me as both systems are made by LCI.
We do have a rear camera switch in our Eagle (built in October) and not positive, but IIRC it's in the Utility Center near the second water pump switch.

That's where the Jayco engineer told me I would find mine...nope.
Looks like October was when they added switches.

The fantastic fan is hot all the time too, don't know how much juice it takes but there's a red led in there always on.

Dealership taking care of me on the camera issue. Be carefull when ordering the Furrion and make sure to buy the 48 model that works under speed on freeway and stronger signal strength. Furrion also suggests wiring to clearance lights as constant power will burn out camera.

The problem with wiring to tails lights is that u cannot plug the head unit into bedroom 12 volt socket if u want to monitor outside. Since mine is prewired I will find the wire and install switch

I just picked up my Jay Flight 28RLS, went to have a camera installed to the pre wiring and was advised that the only pre wiring is for the 12 volt power supply and that it only works with a wireless camera kit.
So they ran a wire over the roof and down to the hitch, works ok but looks a bid ugley on the roof

Why did u not get a wireless like factory uses? Does the roof wire run to the front of trailer to a transmitter?

I prefer to have a hard wired camera, i beleive its a better picture with less static.
Also i went for the audio version. so i can hear when i run over a kids bike and can turn it off when my partner starts yelling.
So as i said the cable runs from the top of the roof to the hitch where a plug is installed - then i have a short cable that plugs into the camera wire at the hitch and a plug on the back of my car - this runs to the center console where i can plug into my monitor screen -
I also have a rear car camera and an option for a side camer as the monitor has a 3 way switch.
I can send you the Canadian company details that supply all this stuff if you want?

I just wanted to pass on that the light type rocker switch in the battery compartment on our 2017 27.5 RLTS FW does in fact turn off power to the voyager backup camera.

My eagle 2016 the on off switch is located in the outside compartment where the fresh water hookups are located. You know that information is no where to be found in the jayco info packets.

Thanks to everyone on this string. Found the unlabeled switch in the battery compartment. Turn on monitor, held the pair button for 5 seconds then reached in and powered on the camera and Bingo! Sales guy didn't know how to do it and the Tech told him to read the book. Nothing tells you about the switch except this forum. Thanks again.

I have a 2018 Eagle HT 27.5 RKDS prewired for a camera. We don't have a switch and it is wired to the marker lights not the backup lights. We purchased 2 Furrion camera systems and neither one worked, so we purchased a system from 4UCam. They had optional adapter plate for mounting where Furrion camera would have gone. Have not been camping since install, but will next month and will check out how it works.

So....if you wire the camera to the single black wire then I have to use the switch to turn it on and off and it runs off the camper battery while in use. If connected to the running light it only works with the tow vehicle lights on and gets power from the tow vehicle. Seems there are pluses and minuses either way but just turning the truck lights on seems like the best option. No battery drain when not in use and I don't have to remember to flip a switch. Does anyone else have a reason to seriously consider the black wire and switch connection other than for security purposes?

That is the way to go so it is only powered when lights on. Mine was wired from factory always on. When mine was at the service center I made them add a switch. They added a camera switch next to my rear cabinet light switch. They told me the camera was wired to the light hot wire from factory. I requsted a wiring diagram when I got my unit but it did not show the camera wires.

Still the same issue today
I found this thread while researching the same problem with our new 2019 29RLDS. Jayco sent me a wiring schematic and said there is a switch in the outside cabinet. No switch. No power no matter how we hook up the TV or 12v or anything. Something tells me they never finished the wiring on our unit. Sucks after spending the money on the camera system.
