Propane cooktop issues

We purchased a used 2019 Seneca 37K a few months ago. We are in Miabat tge Easter Jeep Safari and tried to use the cooktop for the first time yesterday. There does not appear to be any propane coming out when you turn on the valves for the burners. I pulled out the drawer under the cooktop to look for a shutoff and found none. The valve is open on the propane tank and it is half full. Both the water heater and the furnace are working fine. I’m stumped. Any suggestions?

Welcome to the Forum from Western New York State! Congratulations on the Seneca.

Light a kitchen match and carefully hold it close to a burner, then turn the knob to on. If the flame is deflected like air is blowing on it (away from the burner) wait to see if it eventually ignites. The propane pressure is doing this and will be along. It may take a few matches since this is the first time lighting it. Keep us posted if this helps.

After the above spiders love propane orifices. A thin sturdy wire will clear the lines.

We were having issues with our cooktop not working sometimes, after a lot of testing and messing with it, I finally found where a Jayco had ran a propane line over the top of the frame rail. This was right under the water tank and finally figured out that when the water tank was full, the Bo part Ent bottom would sag down and pinch the propane line to the cooktop off to where it wouldn’t work.

If you have the 3-Burner Furrion RV Chef Collection Gas Cooktop Model: FGH4ZSASS like ours, it has been our experience that you have to hold down the knob to the ignition setting for several minutes before the propane reaches the stove. It may seem that it is taking too long but once it lights, you will need to continue holding it down the knob and turn it to the high flame setting a little longer , as it wont stay lit if not at first. We were told, it a safety feature. If you need the manual for this cooktop, Furrion still has it on their website to download. Also, we have called the company and they are very helpful.
