2015 Jayflight 32bhds Elite question
Hi all, new member here.
Just picked up our new 32bhds yesterday. Super excited, lots of room for our family of five!
This is our third travel trailer. First was a 1972 16' Triple E, second was a 2008 KZ Spree 240BH. So this is a big jump for us.
I do have one question for anyone else that has this model. Is there a roof vent in the main living area? We thought there would be, but there is only vents in the bathroom and bunk room...

The regular Jayco's only have the one ceiling vent. The Elite package adds an additional vent. On my 29QBS it is in the main area... I guess on the 32 BHDS they add it to the bunk room.

Elite package is model specific. Select models offer the Elite Pkg with a hide a bed sofa, and select models offer a living room vent, and others get neither.

According to an order sheet, a 32BHDS, is a 1TR, and the Elite pkg is AVAILABLE with the hide a bed, and living area vent, so I assume, no Elite pkg, or std Elite pkg. The Pkg with the hide a bed and vent is about a $400 extra...

Hmm....interesting Tim, I have the hide a bed option and brochure showed vent also but it didn't come that way. I have not seen the actual order sheet.

Thanks! Yes, we will love it. However I see what you have and my first choice was a 2014 Eagle 314 bunkhouse. Just gorgeous!!!

Weird, the Jayco website lists it as Elite package with hide-a-bed and living area ceiling vent. That is the same verbiage as my 29QBS and the vent is in the living room in mine.

well its not to say it shouldn't be there ... question is if it is framed for one in the living area it wouldn't cost much to add one if you knew where the framing was

I have the exact same model. Love everything about it. Got to use it a couple of times late last year before winter set in. I have the vents in the bathroom and bunkhouse only. Never really thought about one in the living area. There is a skylight though in the living area.

If it was wired for optional second ac unit there wont be a vent in the bedroom. At least my model is that way. I have vent in bathroom and bunkroom also. And just skylights in kitchen and main slideout

Our 2015 28 BHBE Elite has the additional roof vent in the living area. The other I guess non-elite packages didn't have it that we looked at. It says that option is part of the Elite package in my paperwork for the TT.

Well according to Jayco, the 32bhds second roof vent is located in bunk room...not living room as stated in brochure. Oh well, fresh air for the kids!!

Good info... I'm picking up our 32 BHDS on Thursday. Switched at last minute from the 29 BHDS because we love the kids room setup on the 32. So is it just me or is the space under the sliding door really silly? It's like 4" or so. Is yours this way also? Anyone have any ideas for adding something to the door bottom to close this gap? I'm thinking even some rubber mat cut to fit and screwed to the bottom.

The gap is probably for air flow,im pretty positive there is no returns in any of the rooms just supply ducts. You have to be able to move the air around.Just my guess tho,i could be wrong
