I really appreciate the tank flush, too.
You might add a clear elbow to your sewer connection. You can watch the 'stuff' run out during the flush. You may not need to run it 4-5 minutes at each dump.
I haven't timed how long I run the flush until there's no paper or solids, but I'd estimate it's 2-3 minutes each time I dump. Rarely does the gauge read any more than 1/4 full after dumping, but I also use the flush to add some water to the black tank when finished dumping (I really don't know how much I add).
Our old class B didn't have a tank flush or gauges. I wonder how much 'stuff' was stuck in the tank when I sold it?
