Can someone check my facts here on a 212QBW

So, the only difference I can tell between the 212qbw and the 21qb is:

No black tank flush
No awning lights
Painted white rims instead of aluminum shiny rims
A few missing cupboards
Missing coat hook

I am about to pull the trigger on a $14,000 out the door 2017 212QBW. Thats with battery and propane. Is that a good deal? On jayco's site it says the MSRP on a 212qbw is 19k but I think that's inflated. Thanks a bunch. Hoping to join the community this summer and take on the outdoors

Sounds about right. I looked at both, went with the 212QBW. Didn't see the need to pay more for what cost me a lot less to do on my own for basically the same trailer.

I think it's a good deal.

I believe a couple more differences are stainless appliances, sink covers and a CD/DVD player in the 21QB.

There are quite a few differences ..... mostly cosmetic, structurally speaking, they are the same. Whats missing on the SLX .... larger propane tanks, no gas/electric hot water tank, although it does have a electric ignition hot water tank, no power tongue jack ( no problem there, just installed one on mine ... a 15 minute job), cabinet doors over bed, nice window coverings, ya the aluminum wheels are nice looking on the regular Flight. So basically, if there is a great deal of price difference, can't go wrong with the SLX. What i do wish the SLX had, and i believe the REG Flight does ( can someone confirm this), a thermostatically controlled A/C system, so it's not constantly running!

I think the qbw is just fine. I have done a couple of simple upgrades (sink covers, range covers, electric tongue jack, new dinette tables, bed support, pics on my profile) to mine and there is really nothing I feel we are lacking. I wanted a 'stripped down' package and this fits the bill. We don't need fancy in a small unit

Exterior siding is different on the 21QB, a bit more colorful. Stainless steel treatments on the fridge, oven and microwave. Large grab handle on the entry door. Electric tongue jack. Propane cover. Thermostatically controlled a/c. Double fresh water tanks. LED awning lights with LED stair light. Black tank flush. Porcelain toilet. Upgraded kitchen faucet. Ability to upgrade a/c to 15K for $150. Stereo with DVD. Upgraded window treatments. Aluminum wheels are an option on the 21QB. Propane and electric water heater. Enclosed wardrobe cabinet above queen bed. Goodyear Endurance tires are mandatory on 21QB, I do not believe the 212 gets the upgrade.

I paid 3K more for the 21QB, I love it and for my taste, it was 3K well spent. We strongly considered the 212, it would certainly have suited our needs, but I would have added to the 212 what comes standard on the 21QB.

I went with the QBW. The dealer added the electric tongue jack and 15 BTU a/c at no charge. I added the awning LED lights, propane cover, digital thermostat, residential faucets, backsplash in kitchen and bathroom, expanded shower rod, gas bed assist, observation/back-up camera and a hard wired EMS for right around $1000 and did the work myself. I'll take another $500 and upgrade to aluminum wheels at some point. I like working on stuff, so it suited me just fine [emoji106]

we did the same on our 2016 qbw, dealer thru in electric tongue jack, lifter shockers on the bed, sway bar package and hitch, tank covers and few other small items, out the door for 14K so I say that's a good deal.

we love ours and have no complaints about the lack of frills. we are camping and enjoying the heck out of it.

Wow that is a much better deal. I still haven't pulled the trigger yet... been looking at used campers with mushy floors :| The electric tongue jack would be nice maybe I could swing the dealer into giving me that
