Fastway E2 round bar hitch.
Anyone have any experience with this hitch? I just ordered a 26BH and this E2 round bar hitch is what they are pushing. Looks like it's a two point sway. They said that the Equalizer 4 point would be overkill.

well if it was me I would still add a sway control I bought one at harbor freight for 30 or 40 bucks and installed on mine and when I am on a road trip I use it and it helps with sway

I had the e2 that the dealer sold me and after a month I took it back for the equalizer 4 point. Best thing I did for an upgrade. The e2 provides no sway control compared to the 4, night and day difference. You will not regret it and will have much better towing experience. Your trailer is big enough that it would not be overkill...

IMO, what they are pushing is not a good way to make a decision. You are doing well to get some outsider info.

Yeah, I though I was getting the E4 which is the 4 point equalizer. The Fastway E2 is a two point, but it does say that it has integrated sway control. I want the E4 whether I need it or not.

Well what they consider the integrated sway is the equalizer bars to the trailer tongue and in that case it is not much

So getting the E4 is worth the effort then? OK.

That is actually what i had not the round bars which is marginally better due to two friction point for some sway protection. However I was still not happy with its ability to control the sway vs the 4 point.

Yes, very true. I should have mentioned that I am pulling quite the wind sail behind me which of course makes a difference.

The Equalizer is worth the extra effort/money/etc. Get the 10K as the 6K will not be enough.
My parents are pulling their 26BH with the E2 8K and I'll be replacing it with the Equalizer at some point. The E2 does the job, but the Equalizer does it better and arguably safer in sway conditions.
If money is tight then the E2 will work, but keep in mind that I got my Equalizer 10K gently used for 50% less than retail which is even less than the dealer was selling a brand new E2 for.
