Furnace issues

Hello everyone,

I have a 19XUD with an Atwood furnace and I had an issue getting it to light this past weekend.

Sometimes it would light just fine (usually during the day) and others the blower would start and then 30 seconds or so later would just stop. It wouldn't even try to light. Propane stove and hot water heater were working just fine so I don't think it is a propane issue.

I checked the control board and the indicator light was flashing once every 3 seconds. Which I think means limit switch/air flow problem. There was some dog hair at the bottom of the furnace that I blew out with canned air and that seemed to help for a while, but when I went to turn on the furnace that night it wouldn't light again.

The last time I tried it was just after I plugged a fan (for white noise) into the outlet where the TV was supposed to go, but I'm not sure if that is related or not.

I also checked the outside vent and it was clear, no blockages, etc.

Anyone have any ideas or experience with this type of issue?

Thanks,

Greg

Sounds like it could be your sail switch which monitors air flow. Watch this video it may help you get it running.

Thanks a lot for that. Seems like that might be it. The trailer is still under warranty so I'll take it to the dealer. If it was something simpler that didn't involve removing the furnace I would have tried it myself.

Thanks again.
