Good input, campfire79. To answer your question on what I paid, I will give you without sales tax and title, since that varies greatly between states. I got it for $35 with the options I ordered (2nd A/C, solid surface counters, party sofa, cargo/bike rack, 16" tires, rear view camera). Probably not the best price, but far from the worst, and definitely fair.

Thanks Jason, I'm in Michigan too, so that gives me an idea. Granted you do have a few more options than what I would want, but I was trying to stay at or under 35k out the door so the Jayco may just be a bit out of my budget anyway. Still worth negotiating on if we decide to go this route at least.

They wont put a sofa in the bunk house on the 2016 because the window is an emergency window on that bottom bunk. We tried to order ours with a sofa, but no good. You have to install it yourself later.

Without too much hemming and hollering, you can get a well equipped 324bhts in MI for about 31500.00 (not with the second AC though) at Terrytown RV. That is before tax of course.

Thanks guys! Perry - we actually looked at this trailer at Terrytown, I think the MSRP on the one they had in stock was like 46k or so. $31,500 seems like a heck of a good deal if I could really get it for that.

Ask for Joe Henry. Very nice salesman. Whole experience at TerryTown was great. They have at least 2 more of these available. Check with him. Ask him if he will do the same for you.

Do any of you have the TV in the bunkhouse? If so, did it come mounted to the wall, or just counter top stand? I didn't order one, knowing I could get a TV cheaper on Amazon or somewhere else. But the rear wall didn't come with a sticker showing where to install a mount. So I'm guessing I need it on a stand? If that's the case, it definitely doesn't work well if the kids want to watch from the gaming chairs...

Funny, Joe is the person we worked with about a month ago when we first looked at the unit. I had some questions for him that he couldn't answer. He was supposed to follow up with his rep and get back to me. He never did.

The only good way to mount it is to the side of the wardrobe cabinet over the adjacent shelf, this way with a articulating mount, it will swing out so it can be seen from the weird "gaming" chairs. Might have to beef up the inside of the cabinet with a second piece of 1/4 luan board. I did the master, but not the bunk house yet.
A word on the advertising "stickers". Can Jayco not stick them everywhere on the inside and outside of the unit? Its OK if they use the easy peel type, but most would not come off clean especially the one huge one over the main area light switch that says "Solar Ready", which did not peel clean and left residue all over the wall paper. Come on, figure it out!
What fun!

Sorry, I haven't been following as much lately, but we traveled from Missouri to Gillette RV in Lansing, Michigan to purchase our new Jayco. We were able to get our 324BHTS with the 15k AC, 50amp prep (no 2nd air), solid surface countertops, party sofa, the RV grill, and our WDH for $30,090. The paperwork listed the unit without the hitch at $29,722. This was BY FAR the best price we found.

Congrats! The only things I had in addition were the bike rack, 2nd A/C, party sofa, Maxxis upgrade, and backup camera, and I paid almost $5k more. Safe travels on your journey home.

Unfortunately our beautiful camper suffered some water damage last week because of local flooding. 😢
We haven't heard from the insurance yet, but the dealership says it is a total loss. We have been looking at the new 2017 models and I noticed that Jayco added the HAB sofa option in the bunk room and added a drawer to the outside kitchen, but they made several other changes that I am not happy with.
We are now looking for a left over 2016 model with solid surface countertops, and a party couch, preferably with Java interior. If you know of one that is available please let me know. I'm not opposed to buying used or having to drive cross country at this point. I just want MY camper back! 😩

I think you can go to any Jayco dealer and have them search their system for that model and it will locate one for you. When I was looking they found one a couple states away and asked if I wanted it brought in to look at. Good luck on yourhunt.
