Jayco Eagle 324BHTS Air Conditioning Issues

I just bought a 2017 Jayco Eagle 324BHTS and we took it this weekend and the Air Conditioning could not cool the entire camper. It was great in the bathroom but the kitchen and the bunkhouse was awful. We even have the 15000 BTU model but still not cold

I also wonder if someone else owns one of these if you have the dining room table with the bench seats if your cushions hang way over the side. Mine are 7 3/4" over the edge and people are sitting on it and falling off. Seems like terrible design and my dealer said it is designed that way which I just cant believe.

2016 eagle 324bhts.

Glad I got mine with the 2 air conditioners. Last camper had one. Same size but different make. Cools the whole camper now. All so got the party sofa instead of dinette table.

We have the jayflight and the A/c is less than stellar in ours too. In july 100 degree heat wave the trailer was in the low 80's all day and would only get cool at night. I will be adding the 2nd A/c this spring if I get around to it. We have 50AMP service

One 15,000 for a TT that big is marginal at best. If you ordered it and the dealer didn't suggest the 2nd a/c shame on them.

My 29QBS had the 15K and it was perfect but this one I bought off the lot so not a option for the 2nd one. Does anyone know what it costs to add one and also would need to goto 50AMP I assume ?

Yes you need 50A service for a second A/C. As long as outside temps stay below 90, the single 15k should suffice. Any hotter than that, that size trailer needs a 2nd A/C. Unfortunately it is much cheaper to order from the factory than having it installed after the fact. I would recommend calling at least 3 different dealers to see what they would charge.

X2 on the second A/C I have to turn mine on in the afternoon in this Louisiana heat. Upper 90's outside and I can maintain 70 inside. A box fan to move air inside helps alot too.

I have a Eagle 314 BDS the 15000 btu AC works pretty good. Have you checked your ducts are they all blowing cool air. I have heard of some not being hooked up or having a kink that impeded air flow. Do some checking see if they are blowing out good close some and see if it blows out harder in the others. Good luck.
