More water pressure wanted

Hello all,

Has anyone here tried to increase the shower water pressure?
I'm thinking an external pressure tank and auxiliary pump. Any thoughts?

Thanks
J.

Try switching to a better shower head first. The OxyGenics is designed for RV pressure values and increases the water pressure coming out of the head while reducing water consumption rate. I would start there and see what you think.

We were always more concerned with water quantity. You see, we hauled water from the campground spigot in buckets and filled the tank. The more water you use, the more water you had to haul.

Hello to you. It might help to say...

When is the water pressure (and water flow?) low?
- connected to the CG water system?
- with water pressure regulator and filter connected?
- using your internal water pump and fresh water tank?
- all of the above?

It doesn't actually increase the water pressure.

... and it may not be the answer if your RV has a water pressure or flow problem.

Although the above are good questions

Need some answers to these.

What is the water pressure and flow at the kitchen and bathroom sinks?
Have you checked the pressure and flow at the bathtub faucet without it being in the shower position?

Have you tried to disconnect the shower hose and pull the knob to the shower position and check pressure and flow. Also check the adaptor at the faucet for any blockage, and check the hose and shower head for any blockage.

You could take a 1 gallon jug and check flow rates at each faucvet by timing how long it takes to fill the jug.

i use a pressure regulator.
Low cg pressure I think is the issue. I'm going to get a gauge this week.
The Trailer is brand new.
Low pressure throughout each faucet.

Try removing the pressure regulator and see if there is any improvement.

If you do get a gauge then get a reading before the regulator and after the regulator Bot times do it with water off and water on at a faucet in the camper That would be 4 different pressure readings

Have you had the TT hooked up at home?? or at another water source?
