That door sound.
Every RV owner knows that sound the sound of an RV door closing. It has its own unique sound. It is a sound I like to here and miss during the winter. What other sounds do you identify with camping.

The Loons calling in the wee hours of the morning. One year we had a site right under their flight path from one arm of the lake to other. They flew over every morning at the first crack of light, calling all the way. Others may have found the noise a disturbance, but put a smile on my face every time I heard it.

Starting reading this a thought you were going to talk about the loons that leave the campground at 5am and wake everyone up with their yelling ...I agree with that the "other" kind of loons are soothing !

Despite not doing much tent camping anymore, that sound of the zipper on the tent opening at the crack of dawn to fresh cool air and a view of mountains, a lake, or some other scenery. Now the sound of the door opening has replaced that, but I'm okay with that.

The sound of the breeze whispering through the pines.
The howling/barking of coyotes in the distance.

Our old TT used to make all kinds creaking, squeaking, and groaning noises while driving it slowly through the campground. Annoyed me at first, but your post made me think about it and it and now I kind of miss it. Didn't own it very long, but lots of good memories in that old thing. The current one is almost silent in comparison unless I forget to release the anti-sway.

Complete and utter silence. It's not possible where I live in the city so when I go camping I desperately long for no noise at all.

The sound of pulling the awning out (manual style, mines a 2013) cuz that is the last step in setting up and beginning of vaca!
Not so much - sound of the awning retracting - meaning it's time to head home!

The cracking of a beer can!
First one right after TT is off hitch makes the best sound.

For me it's not so much a sound, but a smell: the smell of fresh perked coffee made over an old-style white gas Coleman stove.

My son giggling and my DW laughing. They do that so much more when we're camping and it warms my heart and brings a broad smile to my face every time, especially when they don't know I'm listening.
The pop of a real wood campfire (we don't get that very often any more, so it's a bit of a treat), the soft call of a far off Mourning Dove at sunset, crickets and tree frogs as they croak and chirp through the night. I'll even take a cicada call if it's far away (up close, they're kind of annoying though). The whoosh of a Coleman propane lantern turned way down low. The screeches and hollers of kids in the early evening playing some game they just made up just before mom and dad call them in for dinner. The sound of the waves washing up on the beach and the gulls as they "laugh" at each other over the one crab they all want to eat.
Old ones I don't often hear any more: the boat motor when we'd fire it up at the boat launch, and the gentle lapping of waves against the hull as we fished until the sun went to bed and after. Then the soft breeze as my dad idled the boat back to the ramp to put in for the night.
Least favorite: the sound of the tongue jack and electric stab jack motors coming up; that means we're hitched up and heading out.

LOL - we have one we call the "Phasers on Stun" Bird. I still have yet to identify what bird it is, but its call makes me think I'm in a Star Trek movie...
And that reminds me of Eric the Red (squirrel) who seems to take a dislike to DS every time we camp at our favorite CG. He chitters at him and throws acorns from the tree tops every time he sees him. No one else but him...
