Unhappy Help with Water system

We just recently bought a 1994 Jayco 1406 and there is a ton we don't know about the thing. The people we bought it from were class A idiots and treated it like garbage but we rescued it just in time. Problem is, we don't have a manual so there are gadgets and doo dads we are scratching our heads at. We have everything but the holding tank/ water pump figured out. We turn on the pump and a stream of water comes out of a mystery pipe by the gray water pipe. No water pressure cause it's all pumping right out. There is also a mystery spigot under the ID tag that the top corroded of and it constantly drips. Does anyone know the plumbing/ water system on these really well? The picture is the mystery spigot I mentioned. Don't know what it's called so I can't look for a replacement part.

The photo looks like a broken petcock. There should be a handle on the top.

Undo the two screws and pull it out. Undo the hose clamp and buy a replacement.

Any tech at an RV store will recognize it immediately.

Also put some contact glue under the ID tag. Take a picture of the tag, Save it to your hard drive as it has the vin number and other information on it.

Thanks Mike! We were able to get the part and get it fixed in a snap.

(" We turn on the pump and a stream of water comes out of a mystery pipe ") This sounds like there's a drain valve open, and your pump is dumping it on the ground.

Has that problem been resolved?

Unless I missed something, I think the petcock part of it was. Read it again, and didn't see anything about the water coming out from underneath. Maybe MsPopUp cifered that one out.
