Question Jay Series 1008 SG Deluxe Electrical problems

Hi I am new to the world of pop up campers. I just got a 1988 Jay Series 1008 SG Deluxe. My problem is all outside lights will not work. We bought a new pig tail, but still nothing. Does anyone have a parts or wiring diagram? Inside lights will work when plugged in, but not outside. Thanks

By outside lights, do you mean the marker and tail lights? They are only powered by the pig tail from the car, not from the trailer battery or the converter. Check your pig tail connections in the TT, and check to make sure your TV is supplying power on the circuit. The only outside light that runs disconnected from the trailer is the outside light near the door. Ours had a switch right on the light fixture.
There is a trick you can use to light them if you want by jumping the 12V wire on the pig tail harness to parking light wire. Some folks do this in the CG to provide a bit more atmosphere.

Thanks, we got it figured out. It was a problem with the ground on the tow vehicle.
