First off, I was looking forward to being part of this forum, learning, sharing and excited about my new family camping trailer before it all came unraveled.
Long story short: I purchased a 2009 Jayco Jay Feather for my family and it turns out it was a salvage cover up, once I got it down the road it started to fall apart due to a previous accident. I thought I could fix the few problems I noticed, but once I got into it the damage was so extensive there was nothing I could do. I made the decision to transfer all the good "guts" into a car hauler and make myself a one of a kind rv. Here is a link with pictures if anyone wants to see the total destruction of a Jayco trailer and a bit of the process of putting it back together. I kept the same exact floor plan as my original Jay Feather x213.
