Boston Minuteman Campground in Littleton ,MA.
I haven't been there yet but everything I have read was good. Near Lexington and Concord, close to Salem and not too far from Boston (you can take the T from nearby). Stop by Fenway Park home of the world's best
I haven't been to the cape in years so I can't help there.
Happy camping.

I've heard good things about Normandy Farms. It's on our list, but just have not made it there yet.

We go Adventure Bounds Campground in North Truro. Ok campground. Nice location. Walk to beach.

We were up that a way last year. Stayed at Scussett Beach Campground in Bourne on the Cape and while it was fine, it was more like an open field. We later tried the KOA in Middleborough, which is about 20-30 miles outside of Boston and it was pretty decent. Lots of trees, good amenities, and nice spots. Normandy Farms is also within striking distance.

In April some campgrounds may still be closed so call first or check their web sites. You have been given some good suggestions above. Normandy Farms has an indoor pool/hot tub/sauna so is good for early spring camping. To add more to check is Circle CG in Bellingham Ma right off rt 495 at exit 18. Another one we have actually stayed at in April is Shady Pond in Plymouth, MA, right near Bourne. What are your interest in seeing? Maybe we can help narrow down the choices depending on what you want to do. Obviously you will be visiting Fenway Park!
