Hipcamp cancels reservaton

Just got a notice that my Hipcamp reservation that I made almost a year ago for Apr 7-8 has been cancelled because the host "wasn't getting emails". I suppose they got a better offer. I won't use Hipcamp anymore. If it's really important, you might want to use another service.

One bad apple does not spoil the whole bunch. We have had many excellent stays at HIPCAMP. This is personal property, usually not a primary income. You don't really know what's happening in the host's personal life. Perspective matters. Happy Travels.

Instead of a cancellation email, maybe the person could have sent a confirmation email. Tell yourself you are probably better off not staying in some Karen’s yard.
I gave up on a site almost a year ago. Scoped out a wildlife/coe area about a 2.5 hour drive. Did similar back in 17. 5 acre pond, mowed area, and a fire pit. Nobody else was around, kind of like it that way.

Did the name calling make you feel good?
Maybe the owner died or has cancer. Numerous alternatives could have happened

Not getting emails was the only of your numerous alternatives given and is quite a bit different than death or cancer. Nothing like good old hyperbole, eh?
