Paradise Lake Family CG Appomattox, VA
Just spent 8 days at Paradise Lake CG (actually at Spout Spring, VA) near Appomattox, VA. Really nice, quiet CG, with a lot of seasonal and permanent residents. It was very hot, so we didn't do much outdoors except for some cornhole and ladder ball, but they had a lot of things available, particularly at the lake and beach. Gave us an 8-night discount in addition to our Good Sam, so saved a good bit. Very enjoyable, and we recommend it to fellow campers. The only thing that I would change is the entrance to the CG. There is only one sign, and it is not visible until you are almost right on it, so we missed and had to turn around and come back. Also, there is a railroad track crossing the entrance road just off highway 460, with very short up and down ramps - so watch your bed rails if you have a fifth wheel. Otherwise - it was just great !
