Summer New Mexico trip recommendations needed

We are planning a trip to New Mexico next summer...June or July time frame for 7-10 days. I was born in Albuquerque and lived there and Farmington until I was 13. I have family in Albuquerque and Santa Fe that I need to visit for a few days but looking for attractions and CGs in the north part of the state too.

I'll probably take the family to the Albuquerque Expo flea market and the Sandia Peak Tram but looking for other ideas around Albuquerque and out in the country. My kids are 11 and 16 so they over some of things that attract children now. I thought about some calm river rafting and horseback riding just so they can experience it for once. What else?

There a few things to do north of Albuquerque in Los Alamos (2 hrs north)

My favorite If you like hiking is the Bandelier National Monument. They have activates you can do but the Main Loop Trail hike is nice. It will take you along and through nice cliff dwellings and you can climb several wooden ladders into some of the cliff dwellings. There is also the kiva (chamber) and adjacent rooms.

A really nice CG while in Albuquerque is the Isleta Pueblo Casino south on I 25 at the S Broadway exit. Thay have fishing ponds play ground and a bus to take to all their thing's and a railrunner stop to allow access to all of things in town. A quick Google search will let you know about a lot of interesting stops. Cg was $35.00 a day in February. Good luck and have fun.
4 Corners two narrow gauge R/R's close by Farmington.

You may not want to go that far but the train ride at Chama is pretty neat. The dinosaurs at the Ghost Ranch , & Chaco Canyon are places I can do over & over.

The Chama train looks cool but at nearly $100 a ticket, I think we will pass. We rode the 1880s train in South Dakota this summer and the kids liked the first leg of it but were bored the rest of the trip. Might be one of those attractions I'll save for retirement.

Its worth it. It has one of the highest stretch of track at over 10k feet at one point. It's just money.
