Travel from Glacier area into Canada

We’re thinking about a trip to Glacier NP. While there before, we head back we would like to go to Banff and Jasper for a few days. Has anyone ever left their camper (travel trailer) in the USA and spent a few days across the border? If so where or what type of place did you park your camper. Paying for an rv camp site could get expensive. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks

Why not take the TT across the border to Banff and Jasper?

We drove our Class C across into Canada last July and camped at both Jasper and Banff National Parks without any issues whatsoever. Not sure I would be comfortable, leaving my RV in the U.S. unattended for several days.

Where would you stay in Banff and Jasper? RV camping prices are cheap compared to hotels and motels in those areas Tunnel Mountain Trailer Court is 5 min from Banff VIllage with full hookups at $38.20 a night CDN. ( don't forget the exchange rate)
To me that seems a reasonable rate.
Now as for the entrance pass it is $20 for family per day.. Other fee structures here

Both well used. Now up to 250 nights camping and 70,000 miles on the TT since purchase.

just take it... not sure why you would want to leave it behind??? if it is less than a week just pay to put it at a campground and retrieve it on the way back home. it isn't that expensive to leave it at a campground. Warning don't tell them you are going to be gone they may think you are going to leave it there and they may not allow you to stay there.
