12v TV

I have an old 13" 12v tv but want to upgrade, I'm just looking for a 12v 19" television with hdmi and usb inputs. There's quite a few on Amazon, any suggestion on brand?

Why bother? Use a small inverter and buy any tv you like for your rv. No reason to limit your choice to 12v tvs. In reality most tvs these days are 12v but plug into a 110 outlet via an inverter of sorts on the end of the cord that converts the power down to the desired voltage. There is a vastly wider choice in the regular tv selection.

I installed a 600amp inverter near the battery tray and fed a line under the TT to the entertainment center. A quick switch of the power strip from the regular 110 outlet to the line from the inverter and I can run the entire system [receiver, tv, dvr, external speaker] while boondocking or simply overniting in a Wmart parking lot.

We did close to what you are asking about. We purchased a 19 inch 12v TV and installed it.
Our Octane did not come with a TV, and there was one location marked in the bed area for a wall mount, yet out in the main living area there was only a shelf. We ended up installing two wall mounts so we could move the TV back and forth easily.

Anyway, I do not remember what brand it is off hand. It does have USB and HDMI inputs, also it has a built in DVD player. It works great. So glad we went this route.

I like being able to use the 12v plug already installed from the factory, a lot less hassle just plug it in and leave it. We've tried different size tv's from our house and decided a 19" is big enough for our small trailer, we might use our Prime stick occasionally but that's it. I looked at the back of display models to find one that has a removable cord and just use my 12v cord but so far haven't found one in stock locally.

If I was going to use a tv I already have adding the inverter would be a good option. But since I have to buy one anyway I'd go for the ac/dc. We don't have an entertainment center and my wife just wants this to sit on the dinette table which we can see easy from the couch.

We bought a 12 volt tv dvd player , 19 inch. 79 at Menards.

But really it didn't matter because we never use it. We take down time and play dominoes, email or just reading a book.
