2018 Models

I have a 28.5rsts on order and my dealer said it might be early may before it's made. So my question is when do the 18 year models come out, will mine be 18. My dealer couldn't give me a straight answer. Just curious if anyone has an inside scoop.

We ordered a 35S Precept in January. We were called and told it would be delivered sometime in March and would be a 2018.

Interesting. I ordered my Jayflight 38 FDDS at a show on January 7th but was just assuming it would be a 2017 model. It is being built this week as far as I know and due to come off line 2/26 is what I am told.

I called Jayco yesterday and talked to a rep. He looked up my trailer and said it was scheduled to be built around the end of April. He also said the 2018's for this model would start the first of May. Now I'm debating on requesting it be a 2018, but would the price change? Colors? What other changes? A year later model would be nice but......

Price, colors, and options/packages can change. Not sure how likely it is. But I went through that last year. I placed the order with 2016 info but was told it may be a 2017. My sales lady called to confirm it'd be a 2017 and went over changes and have me select my interior color/pattern. I was happy about it and in my case the price was not changed.

The first units may keep the previous MY pricing. Then the pricing may change. My trailer was early MY2017 and purchased on 2016 pricing.

Be careful. In addition to color/option/price changes, some models can be discontinued entirely without notice..

When was yours ordered/built?

April ordered. Built June 2016 (or May - not sure).
