Any fridge experts?

So my seal on the residential fridge has come detached from the freezer door at the bottom and partly up the side. Can I just glue it back to the door? Or do I need to purchase a whole new seal? Or something all together different?

I'm not good with refrigerators! Last time I tried to repair one...well...lets not go there!

Thanks...as always for your expertise!

I would think, thin double sided tape would work.

If its like my home fridge its just like a tongue and groove setup. The tongue is on the rubber and the groove in the door. A little dish soap makes it easier to put back in place. If the tongue is separating from the seal itself then yes...probably time for a new seal.

If it is torn you can glue it back with some auto trim adhesive.

A big thank you to those of you that responded! All fixed...it was as Mikayles said. I just needed to get my fat butt on the ground and look at it more closely! Admins...you can close out this thread as you see fit.
