Blackstone Griddle

Is anyone out there using a 22" Blackstone Griddle on the rear exterior propane connection of a Jayco Coach?

Did you have to make any modifications to the griddle connection line in order to use the griddle...???

I have a 22" but haven't connected it yet. Tried to last week camping but it seems it has a quick connect air hose type fitting. No store had what I was looking for. It would have to have either the small connection at the grille on it and a quick connect or a 1lb. connector and the quick connect. I was almost tempted to wrench that fitting off but didn't. I just opted for another 20lb tank and used the adapter hose that came with it.

I am sure this is at a higher price point that buying the parts separately, but this is one solution. They also have a 12' kit.

There are a few videos describing the connection needed to attach a Blackstone to the RV propane system. This one decribes attaching the 17, but it should be the same as the 22 if the 22 uses the 1 lb tanks.

I converted my Coleman Roadtrip grille that ran on 1lb cylinders to work off the low pressure connection on the exterior of my TT with the items pictures below (Ebay and Amazon) and a few pipe fitting items from Lowe's. Now I have 25' to play with, all for just over $50. It should be similar for the Blackstone griddle.

Shout out to blujay40! www.propanegear.com had exactly what I needed. THIS is the only adapter that I can find to work. Must be a weird pitch thread or something but not all 1/4" connectors work. I have the hose from the trailer to the fitting, both quick connects with a ball valve inline.
