I'll bet the ride down was memorable. I thank God you were not injured. This is a reason to ALWAYS have the awning out!

Whoa! Scary! Glad you're okay!

DW won't let me on the roof unless she's watching me. I think I'll start putting the awning out from now on!

10 feet is a long way. The top of my 5th wheeler is about 13. I don't want to fall from either. That is one reason my wife does not want me on the top any more. Thank goodness you are ok and a lesson well learned.

Guessing that was the longest 7 seconds ever for you. Glad you're sharing the story and there isn't somone else sharing the video clip.

Back as a 20 something I was performing a pre-flight on the B-52 uncle gave me the privilege of caring for. One task is checking fuel which meant sticking tanks from on top of the wings - generally pretty uneventful one person job when there's no frost up there. When there is frost, the excitement level increases . . . A lot when the slip n slide begins. Every second felt like a minute as I was sliding toward the trailing edge wondering if I lowered the flaps or, should I be stabbing this screwdriver into something. 3 months off the flight line was my reward for that one.
