Never purchased one on any of my TT's. During the initial base warranty I always made sure that I followed the manufactures PM requirements (documented) so in the event of a warranty service claim the manufacture didn't have any wiggle room to challenge it.

Stay on top of things during the warranty period and you should have a reliable unit (always the exception) when the base warranty is behind you.

Save your money, that's my opinion.

Bob

I never buy an extended warranty on anything. A savings account is a much better way to go. Add up all the money you could spend on warranties on the stuff you buy, and sock it away in the bank, then if one of those things breaks you'll have more than enough to cover it. I haven't had to do any warranty work on anything in years and years, and that was still covered by the basic warranty.

Extended warranties just aren't worth it.

Statisically, it's a losing bet to buy an extended warranty on almost anything. You are betting that you get a lemon, they are betting that any repairs will be less than the extended warranty. I go with the odds. Always.

Nope, didn't buy it. Too expensive IMO. But...I know some who have and were thankful they did. It's very much a personal choice...

I've never regretted an extended warranty on a vehicle but I've never heard anyone say a kind word for the ones on RVs. I very rarely get one on anything else.

When we bought our 3 yr old Jayco, the dealer offered a generic extended warranty for approx. $1500. That was a bit more than 10% of the price! I declined.

jjcj-- The way I see it, the thing that scares people into extended warrentees is roof leaks, which you have to inspect & maintain yourself & if you don't your are probably on your own for any expense.
