EXTEND-A-STAY Issue

I put an EXTEND-A-STAY adapter on my propane tank line on my 31GS Greyhawk. I hooked up a full 20lb. portable propane tank and I get no flow, or at least not enough to ignite my stove or furnace. I checked and double checked the connections, I have no regulator on the tank. It is plumbed in line with the regulator that my on-board tank uses.

Any Suggestions?

Mine works great, no issues and I have run the stove, WH, and furnace simultaneously. Do you have another tank you can try? Perhaps that tank's excess flow valve won't let enough propane to pass. Also did you try shutting down the tank, bleeding the propane out (suggest stove) then slowly turning your external tank on?

If those don't work maybe you have a bad tank-to-extend a fill hose. Mine is small in diameter and quite stiff, I suppose it would be easy to damage if kinked at some point.

Thanks for the reply Robbbyr: I have tried two different tanks without success, cant say for sure that the lines were bled out, but I did turn the stove burners on to check for flow and there was none. I will try again by opening the valve slowly, Im pretty sure I did that, but wont hurt to try it again.
