Fridge door won't open

Our new2020 24rl tt domatic fridge door won't open. Latch on door defective. Anyone else possibly had this problem? Thanks,first time on forum.

I've never had that happen. Is there any way to see the latch, and perhaps slip something thin and sturdy behind it to retract it?

Bad fridge door latch

thank you,for your suggestions.i was able to get door open by using screwdriver(desperate for my two beers inside!)seems to be a def latch not very well made.will be calling jayco after xmas to see if there may be a better quality latch.MERRY X MAS TO ALL AND THANK YOU
