Has anyone toyed with the idea
We like to boondock and I'm considering installing flush mounted lights in the wall of my awning side rear slide on my Embark Super C. When the slide is extended, the light would be in the side panel, and would offer additional light under the awning. Being flush mounted would almost eliminate any issues with the seals tearing or getting hung up on the light and If I placed the light high enough, wouldn't be much of an issue with blinding light in your face. When the slide's retracted, the flush mounted light(s) would be tucked in and out of sight. I should also let everyone know that fabrication is my hobby so I'm not nervous at all to start cutting holes in a perfectly good motorhome..... I'd love to hear some feedback from others....
