I hope everyone is properly winterized

According to the Weather Channel 175 million give or take a few will be below freezing tonite, and in many cases well below. Here's hoping all of us that need to be are all properly winterized .

We camped in below freezing temps the last 2 nights. Came home today and winterized for the first time on my rig in 6 years. It's going to be cold in the morning for lowcountry SC.

The highest temp I have seen in a week was today and we made it up to 8. Had the fuel in my truck gel for the 1st time in the 11 years I've owned it on our way back from NY on Thursday. Supposed to drop down to a few degrees below zero again tonight.

12 degrees this morning without wind chill. Haven't been over 25 since last night. Not even lookin at what tonight is supposed to be all I know is when I leave at 4 a.m. to go to work it's goin to be cold. Camper winterized and plugged into home to run heater for just in case.
For those of ya that live in places like Canada and Alaska my hats off to ya, oh wait it's froze to my head. I don't know how you do it for those long periods of time.

Interesting comment about the gel of your fuel. Thought the fuel sold in the upper Midwest contained the anti gel additive. Our temps have been 20 down to +9 this am. Have experienced below 0 temps before without gelling issues. I added my own additive before the last fill so under any circumstance I should be ok but this is only my 4 year as a D owner. What about the fuel sold down south? Should I add additive to that fuel when I head north?

The fuel should be winterized, but the tank I purchased in NY either wasn't or it had water in it. I always add a few oz of white bottle Power Service in the winter to each tank also, but it wasn't enough to combat whatever was in the fuel I purchased.

I would definitely add some anti gel additive if you are heading from south to north in these temps.
